Easy Homemade Meatloaf

This easy meatloaf recipe combines ground beef with ground turkey, plus a secret ingredient that totally elevates the flavor. I think you're going to love it!

For the Meatloaf
- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 1 lb lean ground turkey
- 1 box Stove Stuffing Mix any flavor you like
- 1 small onion finely diced
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup beef broth or water
- 1/2 8oz can tomato sauce or 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1 tsp dried parsley
For the sauce
- 1 cup ketchup
- 1 cup water
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup white vinegar
- 1 tbsp mustard
- 1/4 tsp salt or to taste
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, ground turkey, stuffing mix, diced onion, eggs, broth, tomato sauce and parsley. Mix well with your hands.
Once the meat mixture is mixed well, shape and put into a loaf pan. Alternatively, you can shape into a loaf and place into a 9x13 baking dish.
Bake, uncovered, for 1 hour and 10 minutes.
Meanwhile, add all of the sauce ingredients to a sauce pan and simmer on low for 10 minutes
Remove the meatloaf from oven and let rest for 10 minutes before slicing. Cover with the sauce and enjoy!
